Snapping Turtle Does Some Training on the Dirt Track
The wins by Fair Hill Training Center based horses from Monday 5/24 thru Sunday 5/30 were as follows:
Monday: Chuck Lawrence trained "Hasta Luego" at Delaware Park,
Tuesday: Michael Matz trained "Aridus" and Liz Merryman trained "Zurs" at Delaware Park, Steve Klesaris trained "Ms. Moscow" and Mark Shuman trained "Taverna M" and "Bang Away" all at Penn National, Steve Klesaris trained "Earl's First Girl" at Philadelphia Park, Michael Matz trained "Life Lesson" at Presque Isle
Wednesday: Mark Shuman trained "Show the Way" at Penn National
Thursday: Kathy McKenna trained "Great Halo" at Penn National
Friday: Steve Klesaris trained "Maryville" at Philadelphia Park
Saturday: Mark Shuman trained "Encaustic" in the $50,000 Joseph French Memorial Stakes at Delaware Park and "Myositis Miracle" at Charles Town, Graham Motion trained "Lunar Pass" at Philadelphia Park, Mike Pino trained "Rose Medallion" and Graham Motion trained "Quechee" and "Vamos a Ver" all at Colonial Downs
Fair Hill had 87 starters last week.
There were 17 wins, 8 places, 7 shows and earnings of $402,570; 37% of the starters finished first, second or third.
