Vision is King

From Coast to Coast and North to South, Fair Hill trainers find a way to make an impression.

Vintage Farms trainee Visionaire posted an impressive last-to-first place win in the King's Bishop Stakes (GI) at Saratoga on Saturday.

Trainer Steve Klesaris maintained his consistent success with champion mare Miraculous Miss when she placed second in the Ballerina Stakes (GI) at Saratoga on Sunday. More on the Ballerina

Graham Motion shipped Rebellion to California where he finished second in the Pat O'Brien Handicap (GII) at Del Mar Race Track on Sunday. More on the Pat O'Brien

Rick Violette and Fair Hill assistants Bob & Nancy Triola were successful with sending Earle Mack owned Prince Woodman to Arlington Park on Saturday when he finished third in the Arlington Sprint Handicap. More on the Arlington Sprint

Locally, Michael Trombetta and assistant Melissa Begley posted a third place finish with their trainee Control System in the Ambassador of Luck Handicap at Philadelphia Park on Saturday.

The Cowboy gets it done

Another strong weekend for trainers Graham Motion, Larry Jones and Steve Klesaris.

Larry Jones trainee Proud Spell added another Grade I win to her impressive record when she fought off a tough crowd to win the Alabama Stakes (GI) at Saratoga on Saturday. Another Jones trainee, Honest Man, also won Saturday at Monmouth in the Philip H. Iselin Stakes (GIII).

Trainer Graham Motion was in Saratoga on Saturday to saddle Bushwood Racing's Better Talk Now to a second place finish in the Sword Dance Invitational Stakes (GI). Also on Saturday, Graham Motion trainee Drop a Line won the Windward Stakes at Presque Isle Downs.

Steve Klesaris was also in the money Saturday when Circuit Breaker, co-owned by Klesaris and Puglisi Racing, finished a strong third in the Charles Town Distaff Sprint Stakes.

Indy Joe

Once again Mark Shuman Trainee Indy Joe landed himself in the money when he finished third in the Select Stakes at Monmouth Park on saturday. More from Monmouth

West Virginia by storm

Fair Hill trainers enjoyed another successful weekend as they assaulted Mountaineer Park and Monmouth Park.

Saturday:

Graham Motion scored with trainees: One Man to Beat's first place finish in the Staybridge Suites Stakes at Monmouth, Better Then Bonds second place finish in the West Virginia Governor's Stakes at Mountaineer Park, and Salinja's win in the West Virginia House of Delegates Speaker's Cup Stakes also at Mountaineer Park.
