Weekend Update:


On Saturday, trainer Larry Jones saddled Fox Hill Farm and Vinery owned Kodiak Kowboy to a third place finish in the
Vosburgh Stakes (GI) at Belmont Park.

Larry Jones also had success with another Fox Hill Farm horse when Wawaset Park ran a solid
third place finish in the Delaware Certified Stakes at Delaware Park.

Trainer Steve Klesaris and trainee Forty Thieves won the Monmouth Park NATC Futurity at Monmouth Park.

Trainer Graham Motion had two third place finishes with Galantas in the Robert F. Carey Memorial Handicap (GIII) and Drop a Line in the Indian Maid Handicap at Hawthorne.

Heckuva Good Weekend:


Proud Spell and Larry Jones

On Saturday, trainer Larry Jones started things off by saddling top filly Proud Spell to a second place finish in the
Fitz Dixon Cotillion Stakes (GII) at Philadelphia Park.

third place finish in the Eleven North Handicap at Monmouth Park.

Lonesome Glory Hurdle Stakes at Belmont Park.

Weekend Update:


On Saturday, trainer Larry Jones saddled Vinery Stud owned Friesan Fire to a third place finish in the
Futurity Stakes (GII) at Belmont Park. More on Friesan Fire

Trainer/Owner Chuck Lawrence sent Makin Peace to a second place finish in
the It's Only Money Stakes at Charles Town. More results from Charles Town

Also on Saturday, trainer Graham Motion sent Caprice to a second place finish in

In the race following Big Brown's turf romp at Monmouth, trainer Mark Shumand sent Hadavision

On Sunday, trainer Michael Matz trainee, Trensa finished third in the
Revidere Stakes at

There were additional wins for trainers: Mark Shuman, Tim Woolley, Graham Motion and Paul Rowland.

Delaware Park Owners Day Weekend:


 

On Saturday, trainer Larry Jones saddled Fox Hill Farms' Solar Flare for a third place finish in the DTHA Owners' Day Handicap Stakes at Delaware Park. Also in that race, Graham Motion trainee Better Than Bonds placed second.

Trainer Michael Trombetta and Fair Hill Assistant Melissa Begley sent Country Life Farm owned Sagamoon to a
third place finish in the George Rosenberger Memorial Stakes at Delaware.

Fair Hill had 27 starters, 9 of which were stakes, this weekend. There were 4 wins, 4 places and 6 shows totaling $136,030.


September 2nd, 2008

Labor Day weekend update:

Congratulations to Fair Hill trainer Steve Klesaris and his Delaware Park based filly Mani Bhavan for
winning the Spinaway Stakes (GI) at Saratoga on Sunday.
